Role Description
The Software Engineer Intern role at Vite Knowledge is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software components, with a focus on back-end web development and core programming tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with senior engineers on new features and improvements. The intern will also support testing activities, document technical work, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of Vite’s SaaS products and internal tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
- Practical skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development (e.g., APIs, databases, server-side frameworks).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Basic understanding of databases, version control (e.g., Git), and software development lifecycles.
- Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively in a team environment, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Interest in SaaS products and IT consulting; prior project or internship experience is an advantage but not required.
