Lead Software Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer who can build, design, and scale Full-Stack Apps & AgenticAI systems, while also leading projects and engaging directly with customers. If you love solving tough/hard problems at scale, architecting modern distributed systems, and guiding teams to deliver impact, this role is for you.

Note: We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Engineer to work alongside the CXOs and own architecture, platform development, customer solutions, delivery and team building.

You’ll shape the technical direction, hire and develop the team and establish the practices needed to scale. This role suits someone who wants to help build a company, take responsibility for outcomes, and grow with the business.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of complex Full-stack apps and AgenticAI Platform/systems and applications using FastAPI, Node.js, and other modern frameworks.
• Drive system design and architecture decisions for highly scalable, distributed platforms.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure, integrating data streaming technologies.
• Work across cloud environments (AWS and Azure), leveraging ECS, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Design and optimize databases, with strong focus on Postgres and vector databases such as Weaviate for search and AI-driven applications.
• Develop agentic infrastructure and tooling for next-gen AI workflows.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and scalability.

Must Have Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with proven ability to deliver and scale systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of backend development, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with system design at scale (high throughput, low latency, fault tolerance).
• Proficiency with databases (Postgres, MySQL, or others) and experience with vector DBs (Weaviate, Pinecone, or similar).
• Experience building data pipelines (batch + streaming) and working with modern data infrastructure. Using tools like Prefect and Temporal for scalable workloads.
• Familiarity with agentic platforms, AI tools, and workflow orchestration is a big plus.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (ECS, EKS, AKS, Kubernetes, serverless).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi), observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry), or DevOps workflows (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
