E-Learning Developer / Instructional Designer

Earlston Academy is building a modern AI skills training academy focused on practical career and workforce education. We are looking for an E-Learning Developer / Instructional Designer to help us create engaging, scalable online courses.

What You'll Do
Turn course outlines and subject-matter expertise into complete online courses.
Design lessons, learning objectives, activities, quizzes, assessments, and projects.
Develop scripts and content for instructional videos and software walkthroughs.
Create learner-friendly presentations, worksheets, and digital resources.
Use AI tools to accelerate course research, writing, assessments, video scripts, and content production.
Review and improve AI-generated content for accuracy, quality, and instructional value.
Help establish efficient workflows for producing courses at scale.
Collaborate remotely with instructors and subject-matter experts.

What We're Looking For
Experience in instructional design, e-learning, curriculum development, or online training.
Strong writing, organization, and communication skills.
Experience creating online courses or educational content.
Familiarity with LMS platforms and e-learning tools.
Comfortable using AI tools for content development.
Ability to turn complex subjects into clear, practical learning experiences.
Self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Bonus: Experience with Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, video production, screen recording, or technical/workforce training.

Compensation
