Cybersecurity Lead Instructor

About the Role
Earlston Academy is seeking an experienced Lead Cybersecurity Instructor to develop and deliver a job-ready cybersecurity training program. This is a contract, cohort-based position ideal for professionals who enjoy teaching while remaining active in the cybersecurity industry.

• Responsibilities
• Design and update the cybersecurity curriculum.
• Create course content, including slides, labs, assignments, quizzes, and projects.
• Record training videos and instructor materials.
• Deliver live online classes and mentor students.
• Review assignments and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with the instructional and career services teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional cybersecurity experience.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or delivering technical training.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Linux, cloud security, SOC, incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, PenTest+, CEH, CISSP) are preferred.**

Compensation

• One-time payment for curriculum and course content development.
• Teaching: Paid per cohort delivered.
• Performance bonuses may be available based on student outcomes.
