Venture Capital Internship

Role has an initial unpaid internship period (~60-90 days) but can lead to paid work.

Relish is an influencer marketing platform connecting freelance marketers and influencers with local agencies and brands for influencer marketing campaigns. Our goal is to help businesses expand into new markets, host launch events, and promote new products.

Relish Venture Studio is our partner organization for the CPG world. We team up with emerging CPG brands to help them raise capital and act as a genuine partner in their growth, not just a vendor. We sit alongside founders through fundraising, connect them to the right investors, and back that relationship with real growth infrastructure.

We're looking for a highly motivated Venture Capital Intern to help us build and deepen our network of CPG focused investors and keep our portfolio founders and the broader CPG investment community informed and engaged.

You'll work directly with Relish's CEO, and Relish Venture Studio's Managing Partner and investors. This is a relationship and research heavy role at the intersection of venture capital and the consumer brands we support.

If you're someone who's curious about how CPG brands get funded, enjoys tracking a market and the people in it, and wants real exposure to how a venture studio operates, this could be the perfect entry point into the CPG investing world.

It is important that applicants be self-motivated, proactive, and efficient with their time; Relish is a fast paced and agile company and applicants will be expected to keep pace with the speed of business.

What You'll Do

• Research and build out a target list of CPG focused investors (VCs, angels, family offices, strategics) aligned with our portfolio brands.
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors: outreach, follow up, and keeping them warm on our portfolio and pipeline.
• Build and maintain our investor/CPG newsletter, sourcing content, drafting copy, and tracking engagement.
• Support fundraising efforts for Relish Venture Studio's partner brands, including materials, data, and investor coordination.
• Track investor conversations, interests, and check sizes in our CRM to keep outreach organized and current.
• Collaborate with the team to identify new sourcing tactics and investor segments worth pursuing.

Who You Are

• Genuinely interested in venture capital, fundraising, and the CPG/consumer brands space.
• Comfortable researching people and firms and turning that research into a clear, organized list.
• A strong, professional writer, you can draft investor facing copy and newsletter content that doesn't read like a first draft.
• Comfortable navigating spreadsheets, CRM tools, and outreach platforms.
• A good communicator, self-directed and reliable.
• Curious, quick to learn, and interested in how brands actually get funded and scaled.
