Technical Co-Founder / Founding CTO

PREDIX is an Italian-first prediction market and forecasting platform where users take positions on real-world events across sports, economics, politics, crypto, technology and culture using free virtual credits.

We already have a working MVP with authentication, YES/NO markets, an LMSR-based market mechanism, virtual trading, portfolios, forecast scoring, rankings and an admin system. We are now moving into user validation and preparing the product for its next stage.

I’m looking for a Technical Co-Founder / Founding CTO who wants to build the company together, not simply execute development tasks.

You would take ownership of:
• Technical architecture and engineering strategy
• Frontend and backend development
• Database design, security and reliability
• Trading and market infrastructure
• Product performance and scalability
• Technical hiring as the company grows
• Working closely with me on product decisions and experimentation

The current product is built with a modern React/TypeScript stack and a PostgreSQL/Supabase-style backend. Experience with fintech, trading systems, marketplaces, real-time applications or consumer products would be particularly valuable, but is not required.

I’m looking for someone who is:
• Strong technically but also product-minded
• Comfortable moving quickly in an early-stage environment
• Willing to challenge assumptions and make decisions independently
• Interested in fintech, consumer products, markets and data
• Ambitious about building a large company rather than a side project

This is a founder-level opportunity. PREDIX is currently pre-seed and bootstrapped, so the initial structure would be equity-based, with compensation evolving as the company raises funding and grows.

I’m looking for a genuine long-term partner with meaningful ownership in the company.
