InvoHydra is a modern business platform focused on helping businesses simplify and automate their invoicing, billing, and related business workflows.
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive who can help us acquire customers, build partnerships, generate qualified leads, and expand InvoHydra's presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential B2B customers through LinkedIn, email, calls, communities, directories, events, and other channels.
- Build and maintain a qualified prospect database.
- Understand target customer segments and identify high-potential businesses.
- Develop creative approaches to generate consistent inbound and outbound leads.
2. Sales & Customer Acquisition
- Reach out to prospective customers through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
- Understand customer requirements, pain points, and business workflows.
- Present and demonstrate InvoHydra's value proposition.
- Conduct product demos and convert qualified prospects into paying customers.
- Follow up systematically with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and conversions.
3. Business Partnerships
- Identify potential partnerships with accountants, CA firms, agencies, consultants, business communities, SaaS companies, and other relevant organizations.
- Initiate partnership discussions and develop mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Help build referral and channel-partner programs.
- Explore opportunities for strategic collaborations.
4. Market Research
- Research competitors, pricing, positioning, customer segments, and emerging market trends.
- Gather feedback from prospects and customers.
- Identify new markets and customer segments for InvoHydra.
- Share market insights with the product and leadership teams.
5. Customer Feedback & Product Growth
- Collect customer feedback and identify recurring problems or feature requests.
- Communicate valuable customer insights to the product team.
- Help identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and customer expansion.
- Support customer onboarding when required.
6. Sales Strategy & Reporting
- Work with the leadership team to develop and execute customer acquisition strategies.
- Track key metrics such as leads generated, qualified leads, demos, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
- Prepare regular business development reports.
- Continuously experiment with new sales channels and outreach strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of B2B sales and customer acquisition.
- Comfortable with cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and product demos.
- Strong research and prospecting abilities.
- Ability to understand a SaaS product and explain its value clearly to customers.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of targets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling SaaS, fintech, accounting, billing, ERP, or business software.
- Experience with CRM tools.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and lead-generation funnels.
- Experience working with startups.
- Existing B2B network is a plus.

Compensation
Salary: Competitive and based on experience and capabilities.
Incentives: Performance-based incentives/commission may be provided based on customer acquisition and revenue contribution.
