NOSQL Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced NOSQL Software Engineer with strong expertise in Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Java, Python, AWS, and distributed systems to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA.

Must-Have Skills:

6+ years of hands-on Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch administration in production.

5–10 years of Advanced Java / Java 8 / Java-J2EE experience.

Strong Python development and debugging skills.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, sharding, replication, consistency & cluster topology.

2–5 years of AWS experience — EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, CloudWatch.

Experience managing clusters on a non-AWS cloud provider, such as GCP.

Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Query DSL, Index Management, ILM/ISM.

Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code — Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.

Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes.

Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance-tuning capabilities.

Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar observability tools.

Strong Git and code-review workflow experience.

Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
