About the job
SprintFWD is a leading professional services and technology development company specializing in the fitness and wellness industry. We partner with leading brands to create custom web, mobile, data, integration, and marketing technology solutions.
Our teams work across a wide range of technologies, platforms, and client environments, including AWS, React, APIs, CRM and member-management systems, marketing technology platforms, Jira, and Confluence. We are committed to innovation, technical excellence, and helping our clients succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.
About the Role
We're looking for a technically fluent Project Manager to own the execution side of our product portfolio. This isn't a business role; it's the connective tissue between product vision and the engineering team. You'll translate specs into shipping software, keep projects on track, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks across multiple products simultaneously.
You'll work closely with both our Managing Director and our CTO, and partner with designers, engineers, and QA to move features from concept to production.
What You'll Own
- Day-to-day technical project management across various products
- Translating product specs and Figma designs into well-scoped, prioritized engineering tickets
- Running sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives with dev teams
- Tracking progress against roadmaps and surfacing blockers early
- Writing and maintaining clear technical documentation (specs, PRDs, API behavior, edge cases)
- Coordinating QA cycles and managing release readiness
- Owning the backlog: grooming, prioritizing, and keeping it clean
- Fielding technical questions from clients and translating them into actionable work for the team
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years in a PM or technical project management role, ideally at a software product company or agency
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle: you know what's hard, what's fast, and what needs more spec before dev starts
- Comfortable reading Figma files and working directly with designers to close gaps before handoff
- Experience writing detailed product specs and acceptance criteria
- Hands-on with tools like Jira, Linear, or similar: you keep tickets clean and up to date
- Familiarity with API-driven products, multi-tenant SaaS, and mobile app development (Flutter experience a plus, not required)
- Familiarity with fitness industry tech (Mindbody, ClubReady, HubSpot integrations) is a strong bonus
- Calm under pressure, proactive about communication, and comfortable with ambiguity
Nice to Have
- Experience with white label or multi-tenant product architectures
- Background in fitness, wellness, or a related vertical
- Prior experience at a boutique agency or product studio (you know how to work lean)
What We Offer
- A fully remote and flexible working environment.
- The opportunity to lead and shape the future of quality assurance at SprintFWD.
- Meaningful autonomy and ownership over QA strategy, processes, tools, and team development.
- The opportunity to solve complex technical challenges across diverse technology ecosystems.
- Direct collaboration with technical teams, company leadership, clients, and executive stakeholders.
- The opportunity to work with leading brands in the fitness and wellness industry.
- A dynamic and supportive team with opportunities for continued professional growth.
SprintFWD is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
