Responsibilities:
- Lead and support process improvement, operational transformation, business-as-usual enhancement, and strategic change initiatives across CIB.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities to improve processes, organizational design, role clarity, controls, productivity, client experience, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business, functional, technology, data, engineering, risk, compliance, legal, finance, operations, and control teams to define current-state challenges, design future-state processes, and secure stakeholder alignment.
- Drive structured process assessments, including work observations, workflow analysis, data gathering, pain-point identification, root-cause analysis, productivity measurement, and KPI definition.
- Apply design thinking and user-centric methods to understand business needs, simplify workflows, improve adoption, and design practical solutions that can be implemented at scale.
- Support and advance the AI agenda for CIB, ensuring AI initiatives are connected to business priorities, client impact, operational efficiency, risk management, and revenue generation.
- Identify, prioritize, and coordinate AI and agentic transformation initiatives with impact across clients, processes, controls, efficiency, scalability, and business growth.
- Work closely with Data, Engineering, AI, and business teams to translate business needs into AI use cases, process automation opportunities, requirements, pilots, proof-of-concepts, and implementation roadmaps.
- Help consolidate and coordinate AI transformation capabilities that may currently sit across different teams, ensuring a more integrated, business-led approach to execution.
- Develop business cases, implementation plans, project charters, roadmaps, status updates, executive presentations, dashboards, and other senior management materials.
- Plan and manage project tasks, timelines, risks, dependencies, stakeholder engagement, governance forums, and execution milestones.
- Facilitate workshops, working sessions, interviews, and alignment meetings with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
- Define, measure, monitor, and report key performance indicators and expected benefits, including efficiency gains, cycle-time reduction, risk reduction, cost savings, productivity improvement, and business impact.
- Create high-quality deliverables, including process maps, procedures, policies, operating models, workflows, RACI matrices, executive summaries, implementation plans, and management presentations.
- Educate, coach, and support teams on business process management, process excellence, design thinking, AI adoption, and transformation methodologies.
- Document processes, policies, procedures, controls, roles and responsibilities, and other key executive documentation required to support implementation, governance, and auditability.
Experience and Skills:
- Strong experience in process improvement, business transformation, operational excellence, or change management.
- Ability to assess complex processes and translate findings into clear recommendations and practical implementation plans.
- Knowledge of process mapping, workflow design, operating model design, RACI definition, KPI development, and procedure documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across business, technology, data, engineering, operations, legal, compliance, risk, finance, and controls.
- Strong understanding of AI, automation, data-driven transformation, and agentic AI use cases, or ability to quickly translate AI capabilities into business applications.
- Ability to identify and prioritize AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, risk, scalability, and strategic alignment.
- Strong analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, productivity measurement, root-cause analysis, and performance reporting.
- Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, concise, and impactful materials for senior management.
- Strong facilitation skills, including workshops, interviews, stakeholder alignment, and working sessions.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, workflow tools, process mapping tools, and project management tools.
- Strong project management discipline, including planning, milestones, risks, dependencies, governance, and follow-up.
- Ability to operate autonomously , manage ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and drive execution across multiple teams.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create policies, procedures, process maps, executive summaries, and governance materials.
- Knowledge of CIB products, banking operations, controls, regulatory expectations, or financial services transformation would be a plus.
Other Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in process management, process engineering, consulting, transformation, or Corporate & Investment Banking and minimum of 2 years of consulting, investment banking, projects, or strategic workstreams related to process improvement, operating model design, or business transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Fluent English required; Spanish preferred but not mandatory.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $130,000 to $140,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
