Data Scientist

About the role:
Znova is a growing start up applying approaches from the data science/AI toolbox to supply chain management and building smart products to deliver insights. We need a Data Analyst with 1-3 years of experience in data science. Being a small company, we value people who are willing to make contributions to other verticals. You’ll be exposed to all aspects of product design, development, and deployment.
Person selected for this role will have a key role in building and maintaining analytics systems. They be required to develop algorithms and solutions across various business processes. They are expected to design solutions/architectures based on the most efficient technologies available and quickly adapt to changing industry trends while following safety practices and standards

Responsibilities

1. Work with diverse stakeholders, founders, project managers, developers and designer to deliver analytics solutions as per business requirements.
2. Understand and analyze business requirements to prepare detailed functional requirements and solution design
3. Follow right development process to implement the solution with highest integrity
4. Collaborate with team to deploy and continuously improve our solutions
5. Analyse and wrangle data from various data sources.
6. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
7. Solve non-trivial coding and architecture problems with simple and innovative solutions
8. Follows Best practices – with Trello/Jira, Version control
9. Comfortable with continuous integration and development Preferred Tech requirements
   
10. Programming languages– Python, R, SQL
11. Familiarity with traditional ML algorithms for classification, clustering, and forecasting.
12. Good understanding of basic statistical concepts and performance metrics.
13. Hands on exposure to data cleaning, treatment, transformation and exploratory analysis
    
14. Cloud – Familiarity with Azure/AWS ecosystem.
15. Familiarity with interactive data visualisation tools like PowerBI will be a plus. Qualification
16. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
17. 1-3years of analytics experience
18. Experience in developing solutions end to end
