About the Opportunity

We are building a new hands-on AI upskilling program designed for professionals, students and early-career builders who want to become significantly more capable with AI.

This is not intended to be another theory-heavy “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” course.

The goal is to create a practical, use-case-first learning experience where learners actually use AI to solve problems, automate work, build workflows and create real outputs.

We are looking for someone who can take a leading role in designing and building the program with us.

You could be an AI/ML Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, Software Engineer working deeply with AI, AI Product professional, Developer Advocate, technical educator, researcher or someone with a similar background.

What matters most is that you understand AI to teach it practically and can simplify complex ideas without dumbing them down.

What You’ll Own

You will work closely with us to define what a modern AI upskilling program should actually teach.

The role will involve identifying the AI capabilities that matter most for professionals today; designing practical modules around real-world use cases; developing hands-on exercises, projects, demonstrations and assignments; experimenting with different ways of teaching AI concepts simply; creating or helping create course lessons and supporting material; and continuously evolving the curriculum as AI tools and capabilities change.

We want the program to go beyond simply teaching people how to use individual tools.

Learners should gradually understand how to think with AI, work with LLMs effectively, use AI across different professional workflows, automate tasks, work with AI agents, understand APIs and integrations where relevant, and eventually be able to create their own AI-powered workflows or applications.

The exact curriculum will be developed together.

The Kind of Person We’re Looking For

You should have meaningful hands-on exposure to AI — either through your work, products you have built, research, open-source projects or substantial personal projects.

A strong engineering, AI/ML, data science, product or technical background is preferred.

We would particularly love to work with someone who brings additional credibility through experience at a respected technology/AI company, has previously taught or created technical content, runs workshops, writes about AI, contributes to open source, creates YouTube/LinkedIn/X content, or has built interesting AI products.

However, we care more about proof of capability than credentials alone.

You should enjoy experimenting with new AI tools and models and be naturally curious about questions such as:

“How can someone use this in their actual job?”

“What can we build with this?”

“How could this workflow be automated?”

“How do I explain this to someone who isn't an AI engineer?”

Our Learning Philosophy

We want to build the program around learning by doing.

Instead of:

Concept → Theory → More Theory → Maybe a Project

we want:

Problem → Use Case → Build → Understand Why It Works → Apply It Somewhere Else

For example, rather than spending an hour explaining AI agents theoretically, a learner might first build an agent that researches something, processes information and produces an output — and learn the underlying concepts while building it.

The same philosophy would apply across the program.

How We’ll Start

We don't expect someone to commit to building a massive course immediately.

We will start with a small paid pilot.

Together, we might choose one important AI topic/use case and create a short learning module around it.

This gives both sides an opportunity to test the curriculum philosophy, teaching style, working relationship and learner response.

If the pilot works well, the engagement can expand into building the complete program and potentially a much longer-term collaboration.

Compensation

We are flexible about how the partnership is structured. We will discuss once we find a fit.

Depending on the person and level of involvement, this could be a fixed project fee, ongoing compensation, revenue-linked upside, or a combination of fixed compensation + upside.

For the right person, we are interested in building a relationship that can extend well beyond the initial course.
