About the role

BICloud Tech is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect specializing in Microsoft Azure to translate customer goals into secure, scalable, and supportable cloud solutions. You will lead discovery, architecture, technical planning, and design validation across Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, security, governance, migration, resiliency, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and assess customer requirements, risks, dependencies, and constraints.
• Design Azure landing zones, subscription structures, identity integration, networking, governance, monitoring, backup, and disaster-recovery patterns.
• Produce architecture diagrams, decision records, implementation roadmaps, and bills of materials.
• Guide migrations and modernization initiatives from assessment through handoff to operations.
• Apply Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Partner with delivery, security, sales, and support teams to create practical customer outcomes.
• Present technical recommendations clearly to engineering leaders and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure or cloud engineering, including 3+ years designing Azure solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure compute, networking, storage, Entra ID, governance, monitoring, backup, and security.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
• Ability to produce clear architecture documentation and lead customer workshops.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and FinOps.
• Consulting or managed-services experience.
