Pharmacist

The Pharmacist is the clinical leader across both RxGo locations in Ibadan. This person ensures that all drugs
dispensed are safe, correct, and properly prescribed. They supervise sales clerks, run health screenings (blood
pressure, BMI, blood sugar), and serve as the trusted health advisor for the local community. The Pharmacist
rotates daily between Awotan (morning shift) and Orogun (evening shift), or vice versa.

Key Duties
• Dispense medication with correct dosage and clinical guidance to every customer.
• Supervise sales clerks at both locations to ensure proper drug handling and customer service.
• Conduct daily health screenings: blood pressure, BMI, blood glucose for walk-in patients.
• Maintain drug storage standards: temperature, expiry tracking, and shelf organization.
• Review and verify all prescriptions before dispensing controlled or high-risk medication.
• Flag expired, near-expiry, or damaged stock and report to the Account Manager for removal.
• Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations at both locations.
• Support the customer loyalty program by encouraging phone number registration at point of sale.
• Provide weekly clinical activity report (patients seen, screenings done, prescriptions dispensed).

Qualifications
Registered Pharmacist with valid Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) license.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from an accredited institution.
Minimum 2 years post-NYSC experience in community or retail pharmacy.
Strong knowledge of common medications, dosages, and drug interactions.
Comfortable with digital tools (POS systems, inventory software, mobile apps).
Fluent in English and Yoruba.
Excellent communication skills — able to explain medication to low-literacy patients.
High integrity — zero tolerance for selling personal products or unauthorized discounts.
