Junior Content Writer

About the Role:
FOXO is looking for a curious and research-oriented Junior Content Writer who can turn complex ideas into clear, useful and engaging content. You’ll work across blogs, social media, newsletters, website content, educational content and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write blogs, social media content, newsletters, website copy and educational content.
• Research topics using credible sources, research papers and reports.
• Fact-check claims and ensure content is accurate and well-supported.
• Simplify scientific and technical information without losing its meaning.
• Apply basic SEO principles including search intent, keywords, headings and internal linking.
• Support AEO/GEO-friendly content creation.
• Use AI tools for research, ideation and content workflows while independently verifying outputs.
• Edit and improve content for clarity, structure, logic and readability.
• Work with designers to develop visual content such as carousels, diagrams and charts.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years of experience in content writing, research writing, journalism or a related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Strong research and fact-checking ability.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar subjects.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with factual/scientific information.
• Basic understanding of SEO and content discoverability.
• Ability to take feedback and rewrite effectively.
• Interest in health, science, technology, psychology or human behaviour.

What Sets You Apart:

• Background in science, health, psychology or research.
• Experience reading academic papers or research-heavy content.
• Experience writing about health, science or technical topics.
• Familiarity with Canva or Figma.
• Experience using AI tools for research and content creation.
• Basic understanding of content analytics or SEO tools.
