Reports To: Cloud, Access Identity Management and Modern Workplace Team Lead
**Job Summary:
Currently seeking a highly motivated, talented and experienced IT professional to join our industry leading Digital & Change Department as a M365 Engineer. Reporting to the Cloud, Access & Identity Mgmt. & Modern Workplace Team Leader you will form an integral part of the Hybrid Infrastructure Team in taking ownership and delivery of key M365 and Modern Workplace outcomes and deliverables.
The successful candidate will have minimum of 2-3 years prior experience of operating in a similar role.
Outcomes / deliverable include but not limited to; optimising SharePoint / Teams Channel usage and
adoption, application / device mgmt. that supports Modern Workplace objectives
All outcomes / deliverables to have appropriate support wrap for 1 st / 2 nd support with adherence to security policies and standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Planning, managing and outcomes / deliverables from concept to transition into support.
- Delivering documentation such as HLD, LLD, implementation documents and knowledge base articles.
- Handover of outcomes / deliverables to colleagues within the team (both on-shore and off-shore)
- Driving improvement and innovation, challenging current technologies, processes and behaviours
- Ensuring availability, Integrity and confidentiality of Digital and Change services to ensure SLAs and KPIs are maintained
- Acting as an escalation point for Service Desk / 2 nd line support functions
- Undertaking all activities with a primary focus on user experience and operational efficiencies
- Identifying automation opportunities
- Ensuring systems are adhering to technical policies and processes to ensure systems remain compliant and secure
- Working with third party strategic partners
- Building a strong working relationship with colleagues within the Infrastructure Team and the wider Digital and Change function.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong peer relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely under pressure
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively and clearly to a non-technical audience

- Reporting to the Cloud, Access & Identity Mgmt. & Modern Workplace Team Leader
- Ability to establish and maintain a good team relationship
- Ability to build strong relationships across the extended Digital and Change team and key business areas

- Minimum 2 years' experience designing, configuring and supporting: o Microsoft 365 Suite;

- Intune – managing windows devices and applications
- MS-102 Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Certification
- Experience is use of Microsoft Server OS 2019 upwards
- Technical understand of how to manage / operate Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs Azure AD, AD Connect, SSO, MFA
- Designing, delivering and maintaining systems following least privileged access principles
- Technical knowledge of networking including subnets, routing, diagnostics
- Ability to use creativity and innovation to automate and streamline processes and procedures using PowerShell / other tools
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex tasks using available resources, as needed
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills
Desirable: **
VMware Hypervisor experience
Citrix management
Microsoft certifications such as
MCP/MCSA/MCSE
