Finance & Accounting Intern

We are a funded startup focused on transforming customer support and sales with innovative voice agent technology. Our team comprises ex-IITians, ex-Googlers, and PhDs. We are seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and process vendor and client invoices
• Track invoice due dates and follow up on payments/collections
• Calculate and deduct TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) as per applicable rates and sections
• File TDS returns and assist with timely deposit of TDS to the government
• Maintain records of Form 16A / TDS certificates
• Reconcile accounts payable/receivable ledgers
• Assist in GST-related documentation, if applicable
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate financial records in Excel/Tally/accounting software
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for billing queries

Requirements:

• Pursuing/completed B.Com, M.Com, or related finance degree
• Basic knowledge of TDS provisions and invoicing processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Tally or Zoho Books is a plus
• Attention to detail and good with numbers
• Ability to manage deadlines and confidential data
