Automation TestEngineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Playwright and TypeScript to build, maintain, and scale our test automation frameworks. In this role, you will also leverage modern AI-driven testing workflows, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) and prompt engineering, to automate test scenario creation, improve edge-case coverage, and accelerate testing cycles.
Key Responsibilities

• Automation Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end web automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• AI & MCP Integration: Utilize Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI agents with Playwright environments, enabling faster element locator identification, script generation, and debugging.
• Prompt Writing & Test Design: Craft precise prompts for LLMs to convert functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories into structured test scenarios, edge cases, and BDD scripts.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for parallel execution and continuous testing.
• API & UI Testing: Perform UI, API, and visual regression testing using Playwright to ensure high application reliability.
• Collaboration & Defect Management: Partner with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify bugs early, perform root-cause analysis, and reduce test flakiness. Required Qualifications & Skills
• 4+ years of experience in web application test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong programming fundamentals in TypeScript / JavaScript and Node.js.
• Practical experience or strong familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) for AI-assisted software testing.
• Proven ability in prompt engineering to generate test cases, edge cases, and test scripts using LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with Page Object Model (POM), custom fixtures, dynamic wait strategies, and parallel test execution.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline setups and version control (Git).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
