We're an online therapy platform on a simple bet: therapy outcomes can be improved with data and good systems, not just more human process. We match clients to therapists with a precision algorithm and run the full therapy journey end to end.

We think mental health products today are broken in a specific way: context doesn't follow the person. When someone switches therapists, or moves between therapy, psychiatry, and coaching, everything they've built up gets left behind and restarted from scratch.

At the same time, the generation coming into care now wants more from it. As people get comfortable with support, they want to set goals and actually see how they're progressing. That barely exists today.

That's what we're building: care where context carries across, and progress you can see.

The role
This is our first senior engineering hire. You'll own how we build, set the technical direction the rest of the team inherits, and grow the engineering team behind you. You'll be deep in the code early and leading it as we scale.

What you'll own

• Architecture and technical direction. The core calls on how we build, made in-house, that we'll live with for years.
• The move from no-code to our own stack. We've run largely on no-code tools and outgrown them. You'll pick the target stack and sequence the migration so we keep shipping while we rebuild the foundations.
• Building the team. We're starting lean. As we grow, you'll hire, mentor, and shape how engineering works here.
• Engineering standards. Code review, environments, quality, set at the right weight for our stage, not process for its own sake.
• Guiding front-end integration, even if it's not your primary craft.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years in engineering, including senior or lead ownership at a startup.
• You've personally owned production architecture and infrastructure decisions, not just contributed to them.
• A track record of taking systems from early-stage hacks to stable, scalable services.
• Pragmatic judgment: you ship, you sequence migrations sensibly, and you don't over-engineer for problems we don't have yet.
• You can mentor engineers and set standards without turning us into a process shop.

Bonus: experience in health tech, or with consumer products at scale.
