Platform Engineer

We're a stealth-stage startup building Physical AI for the built world. We're looking for AI-native Platform Engineers — strong builders who ship with AI tools as a core part of their workflow, not as an afterthought.

WHO YOU ARE

• 3–10 years of engineering experience (software engineer, senior, staff, founding engineer, or tech lead)
• Strong cloud and infrastructure background — GCP/AWS, DevOps, and database administration are the core bar
• You use Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI dev tools daily and can prove it (GitHub repos, blog posts, X/LinkedIn, side projects, conference talks)
• Strong Python background (Flask or FastAPI); React/TypeScript for full-stack work
• Production experience with Firestore, GCS, Cloud Run, or equivalent GCP services
• Experience with AlloyDB, Postgres, or Cloud SQL is a strong plus
• You've redesigned or migrated a production system — not just maintained one
• Bonus: early-stage startup background, developer tooling, or experience integrating LLM/vision APIs in production

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Startup or early-stage experience at a company under 500 people
• Builder mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, full ownership, and moving fast
• This is an IC role — you'll be building, not managing
• You've integrated LLMs or vision model APIs into production systems
• Comfortable designing data architecture that multiple product lines build on
• Charlotte, NC preferred — remote considered for the right person
