Founding Full-Stack / AI Engineer — SaaS & Enterprise Platforms

The Merritt Method LLC is looking for a senior hands-on engineer to help build, finish, harden, deploy, and maintain a portfolio of AI, SaaS, and enterprise software products.
We are not looking for someone who only wants to design architecture, manage tickets, or write prototypes.
We need someone who can take real systems from working code to production-ready product.
Our current portfolio includes products in areas such as:
• AI governance and enterprise control systems
• government and compliance software
• grant management and execution
• financial wellness and debt-management software
• automation and intelligent-agent systems
• healthcare and regulated-industry infrastructure
Our primary enterprise platform, CodexDominion, is being developed as an AI governance and execution-control system focused on governed execution, policy enforcement, evidence and provenance, human authorization, identity controls, auditability, secure AI workflows, and enterprise integrations.
We also operate and develop additional SaaS and consumer software products under The Merritt Method LLC.
What you will do
• Build and ship production features across multiple products
• Work directly in existing repositories rather than rebuilding everything from scratch
• Debug and resolve frontend, backend, database, deployment, and integration issues
• Build APIs, services, background jobs, and event-driven workflows
• Improve authentication, authorization, tenancy, security, and auditability
• Integrate AI models, agents, tools, and external APIs
• Improve test coverage and CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and operate services across cloud platforms
• Diagnose production issues and own fixes through verification
• Help move products from staging into real customer use
• Reduce technical debt without slowing product delivery
• Review architecture and identify practical improvements
• Help establish repeatable engineering and release processes

Strong candidates will have:
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and Python experience
• Full-stack product development experience
• Experience designing and operating PostgreSQL-backed systems
• Experience building and integrating APIs
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting cloud applications
• Strong Git and CI/CD practices
• Experience with production authentication and authorization
• Experience debugging complex systems across multiple services
• Good judgment about when to refactor versus when to ship
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

The Merritt Method LLC is an early-stage technology company operating multiple products.
This is a highly hands-on role. You will work directly with the founder and have significant influence over engineering execution, product quality, architecture, and release velocity.
