What You'll Build

Responsibilities

Product Development

• Design, build, and launch customer-facing features from end to end
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to turn ideas into production-ready solutions
• Translate product requirements into scalable technical implementations
• Participate in product discovery and technical planning

Front-End Engineering

• Develop responsive, accessible web applications using React and TypeScript
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to our design system
• Optimize application performance and user experience across devices
• Collaborate with Design to deliver polished, production-quality interfaces

Platform & Operations

• Monitor application performance and system health
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve operational reliability
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical discussions
• Help establish engineering best practices and development standards
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Compliance teams
• Contribute to architectural decisions as the platform scales

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience owning features end-to-end
• Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for building responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar) is beneficial
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and version control (e.g., Git) is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a focus on reliability, security, and performance in consumer-facing products are important
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and mentor other engineers is valued
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred

Preferred

• Experience building consumer-facing fintech, banking, lending, or payments products
• Familiarity with financial APIs such as Plaid, Stripe, or modern payment processors
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure application design
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
