You will own backend systems powering:

• Consumer Onboarding
• Identity Verification
• Predictive Data Modeling Applications - Auto And Mortgages
• Consumer Profiles
• Consumer Notifications and Connections

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services from the ground up
• Create APIs powering consumer experiences
• Develop scalable data models
• Integrate with - Lenders. Credit bureaus, Payment processors, Risk systems and Others
• Build reliable financial workflows
• Establish backend engineering standards

Qualifications

• Strong back-end web development and programming skills, with experience designing and implementing scalable services and APIs.
• Proficiency in software development and object-oriented programming (OOP), including writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts and collaboration with front-end engineers to deliver integrated user experiences.
• Experience with modern backend frameworks, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of security best practices, data privacy, and compliance in financial or similarly regulated domains is a plus.
• Ability to lead technical decisions, mentor team members, and work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience building consumer-facing financial, fintech, or marketplace platforms is highly beneficial.
