Founding Technical Sourcing Engineer
Two jobs, one high-agency operator. You run evidence-based technical searches and keep every engagement's pipeline moving. This is the seat that makes sure great candidates get found, and then never stall on their way to a founder.

What you'll own

• Run evidence-based sourcing in our AI-native stack (Claude, Exa, AI sourcing tools): build shortlists against tight specs (stage, stack, geo) with candidate rationale that cites real proof of work, not titles.
• Keep sourcing clean: enforce our client-exclusion and no-duplicate rules and verbatim-source discipline, so nothing goes out half-checked.
• Own coordination and scheduling across active engagements: interviews booked fast, no candidate left waiting, no double-bookings, time zones right.
• Keep Ashby tidy: accurate stages, current candidate records, clean data the recruiters and clients can trust.
• Guard the candidate experience: prompt, clear communication that keeps people warm through the loop.
• Support weekly client reporting: pull the funnel numbers and flag anything slipping before it becomes a problem.

You're a fit if

• You've sourced technical roles (engineering, deep in AI/ML) and can read a spec well enough to tell "used X" from "built X."
• You're relentlessly organized: you run scheduling and pipelines without dropping anything.
• You sweat the details: a wrong time zone, an off-location candidate, or a duplicate is exactly the kind of thing you catch.
• You write clearly and warmly to candidates and internal partners.
• You're fluent with AI sourcing tools, or you pick up new tools fast.
• High agency: you unblock yourself, flag a bad spec or a stalled loop early, and don't wait to be told.

Bonus

• Experience with Ashby or a modern ATS.
• You've worked in AI or healthcare startup hiring (HIPAA/FHIR, clinical, applied AI and agents, MLE).
• You've built or used LLM workflows for sourcing or coordination.
