Senior Talent Engineer
Own full-cycle hiring inside an embedded client engagement. You are the recruiter a founder trusts to run their pipeline end to end and protect their time.

What you'll own

• Full-cycle ownership of your roles: sourcing, screening, calibration, coordination, and close, embedded directly with the client's founders and hiring managers.
• Evidence-based sourcing to a calibrated bar, with our client-exclusion and no-duplicate rules, so every candidate who reaches a founder is worth the hour.
• The screening gate: you talk to candidates before founders do, hold the bar, and move the intro-to-hire rate in the right direction.
• Process velocity and ATS hygiene in Ashby: fast scheduling, clean stages, no strong candidate aging out on a slow loop.
• Weekly, data-driven client reporting: funnel, pass rates, turnaround, and what you're changing next week.
• Early risk-spotting: below-market comp, a loop that's too slow, a miscalibrated bar, caught before it costs a hire.

You're a fit if

• You've run full-cycle recruiting for senior or technical roles at a startup or agency, and closed them.
• You calibrate to the real bar, not brand names or pedigree, and can defend a keep or cut with evidence.
• You're comfortable pushing back on a founder with data when the process is the bottleneck.
• You're organized to a fault: nothing slips, every candidate has a clear next step.
• You write and communicate crisply with candidates and clients alike.
• High agency: you own outcomes, not activity.

Bonus

• Experience with Ashby or a modern ATS, and with AI-native sourcing tools.
• You've recruited inside early stage AI or AI healthcare/life science startups.
