Calibratr is an AI-native embedded recruiting firm. We embed full recruiting pods inside fast-scaling seed to Series B AI startups, with a focus on AI in healthcare, and run hiring end to end: sourcing, screening, calibration, and close. We hire on proof of work, not résumés, and calibrate to a founder's real bar instead of a keyword list.

Our stack pairs experienced recruiters with an AI-native sourcing and evaluation workflows, so a small team moves at the speed our client's need.

What we're looking for

A remote, strong, technical recruiter. High agency operator who has mindset, drive and no ego. We are open to part time/fractional or full-time to start. You will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for technical roles. Responsibilities will involve handling recruiting screen volume, developing hiring strategies, collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The role also includes maintaining regular communication with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve hiring goals fast and efficiently.

• Proven expertise with Full-life Cycle Recruiting and Technical Recruiting
• Experience in fast paced recruiting processes, hiring strategies, and candidate sourcing
• Previous experience with early stage startups and high-growth environments
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Ashby
• Passion for the latest recruitment tools and technologies

You're a fit if

• You've run full-cycle recruiting for senior or technical roles at a startup or agency, and closed them.
• You calibrate to the real bar, not brand names or pedigree, and can defend a keep or cut with evidence.
• You're comfortable pushing back on a founder with data when the process is the bottleneck.
• You're organized to a fault: nothing slips, every candidate has a clear next step.
• You write and communicate crisply with candidates and clients alike.
• High agency: you own outcomes, not activity.

Logistics

Remote. Contract to start, open to fractional or full-time, with a path to a founding full-time seat as we grow.
