About the job
About the Role
VexarDrive Technologies is looking for a Marketing Intern to drive digital presence, brand communication, and content across channels. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role spanning digital marketing, social media, graphic design, video editing, copywriting, and analytics, working closely with founding, product, and design teams to communicate VexarDrive's products and vision. We want someone who can take an idea, decide how to communicate it, create the content, publish it, and analyse performance.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing: Plan and execute campaigns across social, web, search, and email; build content calendars and launch plans; track performance and optimize for reach/engagement/conversions.
Social Media Management: Manage presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X; maintain content calendars; write platform-specific captions/copy; schedule posts; monitor engagement metrics; keep visual identity consistent.
Graphic Design: Create social posts, carousels, stories, infographics, campaign and event creatives within brand guidelines, using one design software with solid working proficiency (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or equivalent); adapt assets across formats; maintain organized source files.
Video Editing: Produce reels, product/promo videos, and founder content, using one video editing software with solid working proficiency (e.g. Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, CapCut, or equivalent) — cutting, audio sync, captions, transitions, color correction, platform-optimized exports; understand pacing and hooks for short-form retention.
Content Writing: Write copy for social, web, email, blogs, scripts, and ads; adapt tone by platform/audience; simplify technical concepts accurately; proofread for grammar and consistency.
Marketing Analytics: Track reach, engagement, CTR, traffic, and conversions using platform/analytics tools; compare content strategies; prepare performance reports to guide decisions.
Market & Competitor Research: Study competitors, mobility/tech trends, and audience behavior to spot differentiation opportunities.
Brand Communication: Maintain consistent brand identity across all channels; verify product claims with technical teams before publishing; support launches and announcements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with founding, product, design, and engineering teams to gather assets/info, join brainstorms, and deliver on agreed timelines.
Core Requirements
Digital Marketing: Understanding of funnels, targeting, organic growth, and campaign measurement tied to objectives (not just posting frequency).
Social Media: Familiarity with major platforms, content calendars, scheduling, and current trends.
Design: Confident, hands-on command of at least one professional design tool (Canva / Photoshop / Illustrator / Figma / equivalent), with solid grasp of typography, layout, hierarchy, and color.
Video: Confident, hands-on command of at least one professional editing tool (Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut / CapCut / equivalent), with understanding of pacing, subtitles, aspect ratios, and exports.
Writing: Strong written English, clear verbal communication, and ability to translate technical concepts into accessible copy.
Analytics: Comfort interpreting metrics via Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn/YouTube Analytics, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior marketing/social/design internship or creator-account experience; campaign execution experience; SEO basics; exposure to Google/Meta/LinkedIn Ads; CMS experience; email marketing platforms; motion graphics/animation; photography/videography; tech/automotive/mobility/B2B content experience; AI-assisted creative tools familiarity; marketing automation/scheduling tools.
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio, managed social account, design/video samples, writing samples, or campaign case study is required — showing actual contribution. Be ready to explain: objective, your role, tools used, creative/strategic decisions, audience, results, and what you'd improve.
Educational Background
Open to Marketing, Business, Mass Comm, Advertising, Media Studies, Journalism, Visual Comm, Design, Commerce, Engineering, or other backgrounds with demonstrable marketing/creative skills. Specific degree not mandatory with a strong portfolio.
What We Expect
Comfort creating content independently from a brief, designing creatives on their go-to design tool, editing short-form video on their go-to editing tool, writing engaging copy, understanding product info before publishing, managing multiple deadlines, using analytics to guide decisions, and collaborating across technical/non-technical teams. We value creativity, communication, execution speed, analytical thinking, and ownership — deep command of at least one tool per discipline, rather than shallow exposure to many.
