About the Flourishing Systems Foundation (FSF)
FSF is a nonprofit innovation lab exploring how people and technology can flourish together during a time of rapid societal changes.
Through research, education, venture incubation, carried out in community-based living laboratories that we call Catalytic Communities, we design and test new models for co-existing together: from future of education, to work, to creative expression, to technology innovation, entrepreneurship, mutual aid, collective governance and more.
All in order to increase community resilience and orient people toward more hopeful futures where humans and our planet may flourish.
The Opportunity
We're looking for 1–2 highly motivated interns to help build and operate FSF's growing ecosystem. Working directly with the founders, you'll support projects spanning research, education/ advocacy, incubation, community events, partnerships, and organizational operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to ambitious ideas, coordinating across multiple projects, contributing to global movement building, and helping mission-driven organizations grow.
What You'll Do
We're hiring for two fellowship tracks. Depending on your interests and strengths, you'll primarily support one area while collaborating across the broader organization.
Ecosystems Fellow
Help grow the movement for humanity-centered innovation and flourishing.
You may support:
- Public education and thought leadership initiatives
- Field and movement building across the a growing global ecosystem
- Communications, storytelling, and content development
- Podcast, social media, Substack and/ or other outreach channel development
- Strategic partnerships and coalition building
- Advocacy, convenings, and public events
- Community outreach and ecosystem engagement
- Research translation and educational resources
Project & Operations Fellow
Help build the systems and programs that power FSF's work.
You may support:
- Project management across multiple initiatives
- Support community programs, events, and convenings
- Support venture incubation and educational programs
- Support research coordination and program development
- Organizational operations, documentation, and workflows
- Support partnership coordination and meeting logistics
- Support implementation of strategy into strong operational systems
We're Looking For Someone Who...
Doesn’t simply check off a list of qualifications. We're looking for someone who is passionate, curious, organized, proactive, and excited to help build/ shape a meaningful field. We value collaboration, initiative, systems thinking, and a willingness to learn, over exact years or type of experience. Ideal candidates are:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-directed and reliable
- Comfortable managing multiple projects
- Strong written and verbal communicators
- Interested in frontier science and technology, education, entrepreneurship, and/ or social innovation
- Excited by mission-driven work
- Nice to have: have a personal health and wellbeing practice (interest in breathwork, yoga, meditation, positive psychology,somatic practices and alike)
- Experience with tools such as Notion, Asana, Airtable, Google Workspace, Miro, or AI tools is helpful but not required.
What You'll Gain
You'll gain hands-on experience in nonprofit innovation, project management, community building, venture incubation, organizational operations, and global movement building while working alongside researchers, entrepreneurs, designers, and community leaders building humanity-centered futures.

This role is especially well suited for graduate students or early-career professionals interested in social impact innovation, project management, organizational development, entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, and systems change.
Time Commitment
