Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to help transform complex datasets into actionable insights. In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to design Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, conduct exploratory data analysis, and directly influence product strategy.

What You Will Do

1. Build Business Intelligence & Dashboards
   * Design, develop, and maintain automated BI dashboards and reports (using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Looker).
   * Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across sales, product usage, user retention, and marketing.
   * Provide regular executive summaries highlighting business trends, wins, and areas for improvement.

2. Contribute to Product Development
   * Analyze user behavior data to identify drop-off points, feature usage patterns, and optimization opportunities.
   * Conduct A/B testing analysis to help product managers evaluate new feature rollouts.
   * Help define data metrics and tracking requirements for new product features before launch.

3. Data Quality & Hygiene
   * Perform data cleaning, validation, and exploratory analysis on large datasets.
   * Partner with data engineers to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficient reporting pipelines.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
   * Translate complex statistical findings into easy-to-understand visualizations and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
   * Conduct ad-hoc data investigations to support strategic business decisions.

What We’re Looking For
Education: Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Technical Skill Requirement:

• Proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, aggregations).
• Hands-on experience with a BI Tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase, Google Looker Studio).
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy) and analysis.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets. Mindset:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Curiosity to dig deeper into anomalies and find the "why" behind the numbers.
• Excellent communication skills—ability to present data clearly and concisely.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with database management or cloud platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
