Sapyon is building AI-powered software for Amazon brands and agencies. We combine Agentic AI, Generative AI, retail intelligence, and automation to help businesses make smarter decisions and automate execution at scale.

As an Engineering Intern, you'll work on both modern full-stack applications and production-grade AI systems used by real customers. You'll collaborate closely with founders and engineers, taking end-to-end ownership of features from development to deployment.

What You'll Work On

• React & Next.js web applications
• Python backend services and REST APIs
• PostgreSQL databases and scalable system design
• AI agents using LangGraph, CrewAI, and multi-agent systems
• LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
• RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems
• React Native mobile applications
• AI-powered dashboards and internal tools
• Cloud deployments, workflow automation, and long-running AI workflows
• Tool calling, API integrations, and autonomous execution systems

Responsibilities

• Build and ship scalable frontend, backend, and AI-powered features
• Design APIs, databases, and system components
• Contribute to system architecture and HLD/LLD discussions
• Build AI agents, RAG pipelines, and memory systems
• Integrate internal and third-party services, tools, and APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, production-grade code
• Debug, optimize, and improve performance, latency, and reliability
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams
• Own features end-to-end, from development to deployment

Required Skills

• Strong Python programming skills
• JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js
• Understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering
• Experience with REST APIs and backend development
• PostgreSQL or relational databases
• HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS
• Git & GitHub
• Strong Data Structures & Algorithms fundamentals
• Understanding of system design (HLD & LLD)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly and take ownership
