Position Overview

As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications that support the Foundation's international initiatives.

You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, AI engineers, data scientists, product managers, and project leadership to build scalable, secure, and high-performance software.

We are looking for developers who enjoy working with modern technologies, AI-assisted development workflows, and agile methodologies in a collaborative remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Build reusable frontend components and responsive user interfaces.
• Develop secure backend APIs and business logic.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and cloud services.

AI & Intelligent Systems Integration

• Collaborate on AI-powered features using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Integrate OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI services into web applications.
• Develop intelligent workflows, automation pipelines, and agentic systems.
• Assist in implementing AI-driven dashboards and analytics.

Backend Engineering & APIs

• Design RESTful APIs and modern backend architectures.
• Build authentication, authorization, and user management systems.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement scalable server-side services and integrations.

Frontend Development

• Develop responsive and accessible interfaces using modern frameworks.
• Translate UI/UX designs into production-ready applications.
• Improve user experience through performance optimization and interactive features.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Cloud & DevOps

• Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications.
• Work with Docker and containerized environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Collaborate on infrastructure improvements and application monitoring.

Collaboration & Agile Development

• Participate in sprint planning and agile development processes.
• Manage development tasks through GitHub Issues and Pull Requests.
• Collaborate with international volunteers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture discussions.

Technical Qualifications

Required

• Experience developing full-stack web applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Experience with Node.js and backend development.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Experience using Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of responsive web development principles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.
