Position Overview
As Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide operational support for volunteer recruitment, onboarding, documentation, scheduling, and engagement activities.
Working alongside the Human Resources Manager and department leaders, you will help ensure that volunteers have a smooth and positive experience from application through onboarding and active participation.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and supporting people within an international nonprofit environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Coordination
- Assist with volunteer recruitment and candidate screening.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with applicants.
- Maintain applicant tracking records.
- Support recruitment campaigns across multiple platforms.
Onboarding & Volunteer Experience
- Coordinate onboarding sessions for new volunteers.
- Prepare welcome materials and onboarding documentation.
- Monitor onboarding completion and follow-up activities.
- Support volunteer orientation and engagement initiatives.
HR Administration
- Maintain volunteer files and documentation.
- Track volunteer participation and HR metrics.
- Prepare reports and administrative documentation.
- Ensure records remain accurate and organized.
Communication & Team Support
- Serve as a point of contact for volunteer inquiries.
- Coordinate internal HR communications and announcements.
- Support recognition and engagement programs.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and organizational events.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows.
- Assist in developing onboarding guides and HR resources.
- Support implementation of new HR tools and automation initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of volunteer operations.
Qualifications
Required
- Background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Preferred
- Experience coordinating recruitment or volunteer programs.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, ClickUp, Trello, or similar collaboration tools.
- Experience working with multicultural or international teams.
- Interest in nonprofit organizations, digital innovation, or social impact.

Location: Remote
Commitment: Flexible schedule (minimum 15–20 hours per week)
Meetings: Biweekly (30–45 minutes)
