About RoboX

RoboX is building the data layer for the next generation of AI and robotics. We operate a crowdsourced platform where contributors use their smartphones to capture first-person (egocentric) video of everyday real-world tasks. This data is processed, annotated, and delivered to leading robotics companies and AI labs to train manipulation, navigation, and interaction models.

We partner with companies building physical AI, from early-stage robotics startups to Fortune 500
enterprises. Our app is live on iOS and Android, and we are scaling our global contributor network.
The Role We are looking for Data Collection Contributors worldwide to record short, guided video clips of real-world activities using their smartphones. This is a flexible, remote, task-based role. You record at home or in your environment, on your own schedule. No special equipment needed. Just your smartphone.

What You Will Do

• Download the RoboX app and complete a short onboarding
• Follow guided prompts (campaigns) that describe specific tasks to record
• Record first-person video of everyday activities: cooking, cleaning, organizing, opening and closing objects, handling tools, navigating spaces
• Submit clips through the app for review
• Get paid for every accepted hour of video

Who This Is For

• Anyone with a smartphone (Android or iOS) and a stable internet connection
• Available to record at least a few hours per week
• Comfortable following simple task instructions
• Able to record in well-lit, real-world environments (home, kitchen, workshop, outdoor areas)
• No prior experience or degree required

Compensation

• Paid per accepted hour of recorded video - 3$/hour
• Rates are competitive for your region
• Payments processed regularly through local-friendly methods (UPI, M-Pesa, PIX, GCash, bank transfer, and more depending on your country)
