Founding Brand Marketing Lead

Your mission:

Make Pepper impossible to ignore. You'll shape how the world sees, hears, and talks about Pepper, from brand identity to media presence to the communities where our audience actually lives. A core question you'll help answer: "Where should Pepper exist to generate the highest leverage and impact?"

What you’ll do:

• Shape the Pepper brand: voice, visual identity, positioning, and lasting impression with every interaction. You are its first ambassador!
• Lead content strategy and production: short-form video, social posts, community, UGC, founder-led storytelling.
• Amplify the founder narrative: coordinate podcasts, interviews, speaking engagements, and media; build lasting relationships with the journalists, creators, and community leaders who amplify it.
• Design and execute go-to-market for product launches in close collaboration with Product and Tech teams.
• Identify highest-leverage moments and activate distribution partnerships: influencers, conferences, communities, events, media, B2B2C channels, gatherings where Pepper’s presence creates outsized impact.
• Create and organize moments around Pepper: dinners, events, and meetups that build community with early adopters and ecosystem players.
• Beyond just doing your work, you'll build and manage the agent/s that do your work.

Skills we’re looking for

• High ownership, high accountability: what you have done and can do, not where you studied or worked before.
• Track record building an audience: you understand distribution and channels, and have grown a waitlist or a user base from scratch.
• Storyteller and marketer attitude: you can write a tweet, pitch a journalist, direct a shoot, design a post, brief an agency or a podcast host, and script a short-form video, all in the same week.
• Relationship-driven: naturally curious and obsessed with creating opportunities and opening doors.
• Brand intuition: you know what makes something feel trustworthy and relevant, especially for young audiences.

Even better if you have

• Experience connecting with universities and student communities: you know how to build presence from the ground up with young audiences.
• Existing network in Mexican media, creator, or influencer ecosystem.
• Design sensibility: you have strong opinions about products and can brief designers effectively.
• You can steer an AI agent: break down work, prompt with precision, and catch when it's going wrong.
