AI Workflow Automation Engineer

About the role
Ayatix Labs builds AI-powered automation systems for clients across industries. No two engagements look the same: lead generation, content pipelines, internal ops automation, and whatever a client needs built next. We want an engineer who can take a project from process discovery to a live, maintained system largely on their own. This is a hands-on builder role, not an advisory one.
What you will do
• Turn a client's messy manual process into a clean automated workflow.
• Scope, build, test, and ship solutions end to end, in whatever domain the project sits.
• Default to no-code or low-code, and drop into code when it hits a limit.
• Integrate LLMs into workflows: content generation, extraction, chat agents, multi-step reasoning.
• Wire systems together via APIs and webhooks: CRMs, CMSs, databases, scraping tools, messaging.
• Build lightweight interfaces when needed: dashboards, internal tools, simple apps, chat widgets.
• Build for reliability and handover, so systems keep running without you.
Core skills
• Orchestration (primary): production-level Make.com (routers, error handlers, data stores); exposure to n8n, Zapier, or Zoho Flow; knows when an automation has outgrown no-code.
• Scripting: writes Python for the gaps no-code cannot fill (logic, data wrangling, API calls, parsing). Not a full software engineer, but not blocked when a problem needs code.
• AI orchestration: strong prompt engineering for structured output; chains LLM calls and understands agent basics; builds RAG (chunking, embeddings, retrieval, guardrails); direct API integration with Claude, OpenAI, or equivalents; cost-aware on tokens and model choice.
• Integration and APIs: REST, auth (OAuth, keys, tokens), webhooks, pagination, idempotency; integrates CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Salesforce), CMSs, databases, spreadsheets.
• Interfaces (functional, not pixel-perfect): builds usable dashboards and tools with no-code builders (Retool, Airtable, Softr, Glide, Bubble) or AI-assisted tools (v0, Lovable, Bolt, Cursor); light Streamlit, Gradio, or basic React when needed.
• Data handling: scraping from JS-heavy, rate-limited, messy sources; dedup and cleaning; basic compliance awareness (GDPR, UAE PDPL).
• Delivery: runs a client conversation, scopes a requirement, documents, and works self-directed.

• Make.com, HubSpot, or Zoho certifications.
• Design or product-grade UX skills beyond functional interfaces.
• A portfolio of shipped automations.
