  • Ensure high availability and performance of network infrastructure
  • Support and resolve complex network issues & tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent service experience.
  • Facilitate process improvements using Change and Incident Management Tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to support network initiatives, while ensuring mutual knowledge sharing & clear documentation/audits.
  • Assess and communicate risks based on complexity, resource availability, and timeline constraints.

Additionally (10–20% of the role – on-site Data Center operations):

  • Manage hardware lifecycle: receiving shipments, inventory tracking, installations, upgrades, and break/fix tasks.
  • Support data center operations including rack organization, cabling, hardware installs (with system engineers), and RMAs management.
  • Handle capacity planning and power audits, ensuring appropriate supply of power to all equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Software-related field / equivalent IT experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Network Engineer / Data Center Specialist role
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst & Nexus switches, as well as routing fundamentals and DNS+DHCP administration
  • Experience in managing Aruba Wi-Fi environments.
  • Knowledge / experience in F5 LTM/GTM and SSL certificate management.
  • Exposure to data center infrastructure, including power and cooling, rack and stack, and structured cabling
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and be on call outside business hours, including weekends
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent ownership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective global team interaction.

Nice to have:

  • Background from enterprise product-based software companies
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware with OEMs like HP, Cisco, Dell EMC, IBM, Hitachi, etc.
