Software Engineer

Navtech is looking for enthusiastic and self-driven Freshers with strong interest in Python programming to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates who have completed internships, academic projects, or hands-on training in Python development and are eager to build a career in software engineering.

The candidate should possess good problem-solving skills, willingness to learn new technologies, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Candidates will also get an opportunity to work on ERPNext-based projects and gain hands-on exposure to the Python Frappe Framework ecosystem while working alongside experienced development teams.

*Working as a Software Engineer at Navtech, you will: *

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining Python-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code under guidance of senior developers.
• Work on APIs, backend services, and application integrations.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Learn and adapt to modern development practices and tools.
• Contribute to internal projects, automation tasks, or AI-driven applications as required.
• Work on ERPNext customization, modules, and business applications.
• Learn and contribute to applications built using the Python Frappe Framework.
• Assist in developing workflows, APIs, reports, and backend features within ERPNext projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Good knowledge of Python programming.
• Understanding of basic programming concepts, OOPs, and data structures.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and backend development concepts.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Understanding of Git/version control is an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and learning attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2025/2026 graduates preferred.
• Internship experience, academic projects, or certification projects in Python preferred.
