About the job
The Role
Own and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure across multiple office locations: networking, security, cloud platforms, endpoints, physical-security systems, ERP integrations, and vendor relationships. You will be the single point of accountability for keeping everything running, secure, and thoroughly documented.
What You’ll Do
• Design, manage, and troubleshoot multi-site LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networks, and point-to-point links.
• Administer enterprise firewalls: security policies, NAT, VPN tunnels, logging, and failover.
• Drive cybersecurity audit compliance: internal assessments, external audit liaison (ISO 27001, government/defence), evidence preparation, finding remediation, and incident response.
• Administer cloud productivity suites, file-sharing platforms, and software licences (provisioning, SSO, access reviews).
• Manage CCTV/NVR infrastructure, biometric attendance systems, and their integration with HR platforms.
• Support ERP–banking integrations, label-printing/factory-track servers, and business-application dependencies.
• Run IT helpdesk operations: ticketing workflows, SLA tracking, and Tier-2/3 endpoint support (laptops, printers, peripherals).
• Maintain IT asset register, coordinate procurement and warranty claims, and manage server backups.
• Support government/defence compliance projects
• Produce and maintain self-sufficient documentation for every system and process.
What You Bring
• 4–7 years in IT infrastructure/operations, ideally multi-site.
• Strong L2/L3 networking (VLANs, routing, DHCP/DNS, wireless) and firewall administration.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity audits and compliance frameworks.
• Email-security knowledge
• Cloud productivity-suite admin experience (Google Workspace, M365, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with CCTV/NVR, biometric devices, and ERP environments.
• Solid documentation habits and vendor-management skills.
AI Expectations
• Use AI to streamline IT administration, operations, and audit readiness.
• Apply vibe coding to generate scripts for automating recurring audit and admin tasks.
• Automate access reviews, asset checks, log summaries, patch reports, and evidence collection where feasible.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, and compliance.
Nice to Have
• Defence/government IT compliance exposure.
• Scripting basics (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
