About the role

We are hiring a Developer Relations professional to be the technical voice and
community presence of Simplismart in the global AI engineering ecosystem. This is not
a traditional marketing or content role it is a high-ownership, engineering-adjacent
position for someone who has strong opinions about inference, can write about them
with precision and depth, and has the credibility to be taken seriously by developers, ML
engineers, and technical decision-makers.
You will own the full developer narrative of Simplismart from the benchmark that sparks
a debate on X (Twitter), to the technical deep-dive that gets circulated in AI engineering
Slack groups, to the conference talk that earns Simplismart a spot on a CTO's shortlist.
You will be our most visible technical voice externally, and our most informed advocate
for developers internally.

What is expected from you-

• Technical Content & Thought Leadership Produce high-quality technical content including benchmarks, inference engineering guides, integration walkthroughs, and opinionated deep-dives on LLM deployment, latency optimisation, and model serving. Content that engineers read, share, and cite.
• Community Building & Activation Build and sustain Simplismart's presence in developer communities Hugging Face forums, ML Discord servers, GitHub discussions, Indian AI builder groups, and beyond. Participate, not just post.
• Developer Experience Ownership Act as the primary feedback loop between the developer community and Simplismart's product and engineering teams. Surface friction, advocate for fixes, and close the loop.
• Events & Conference Representation Identify, submit to, and speak at relevant conferences, developer summits, and hackathons (PyCon India, AI/ML meetups, cloud-hosted dev events). Represent Simplismart where builders gather.
• Benchmark & Competitive Intelligence Own the narrative around Simplismart's performance. Produce rigorous, reproducible benchmarks that demonstrate our edge versus alternatives such as vLLM, TGI, Triton, and others.
• Ecosystem Integrations & Partnerships Identify integration opportunities with adjacent tools and frameworks; drive technical collaboration with model builders, open-source projects, and platform partners.
• Grow and eventually lead the DevRel vertical This role is expected to evolve. As Simplismart scales, you will help define the DevRel function, potentially hiring and mentoring the next layer.

What we’re looking for-

• 3–5 years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or a closely adjacent technical role (e.g., ML Engineer, Inference Engineer, or Technical Writer with significant community involvement).
• Deep understanding of the AI/ML ecosystem particularly inference, model deployment, LLM tooling, or cloud infrastructure
• A demonstrable public presence blogs, GitHub contributions, talks, or community contributions that engineers respect.
• Exceptional written communication the ability to write technical content that is simultaneously accurate, opinionated, and genuinely readable.
• Experience engaging developer communities not just creating content for them, but being an active participant within them.
• Strong self-direction and execution instinct; able to identify what matters and ship without waiting for a brief

Good to have:

• Prior experience at a developer tools, AI infrastructure, or cloud-adjacent
• company
• Familiarity with inference frameworks (vLLM, TGI, ONNX, TensorRT, etc.)
• Experience presenting at technical conferences or developer events
• Prior experience scaling or structuring a DevRel function
