Position Overview
The Financial Analyst is a key member of our Finance team, supporting the financial planning, reporting, and analytical functions that underpin Nakamoto’s multi-vertical operating business. In this role, you’ll partner with subsidiary finance teams and cross-functional leadership to drive consolidated reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for delivering the financial visibility and analytical rigor that enables Nakamoto to allocate capital effectively, meet its shareholder obligations, and scale its Bitcoin-native operating platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning across the Company and its subsidiaries
- Consolidate financials and forecasts from multiple business units, ensuring alignment with corporate assumptions and timelines
- Partner directly with subsidiary finance teams to track performance, analyze results, and identify key trends
- Prepare materials for internal leadership, board meetings, and investor-facing communications
- Assist in the preparation of public company reporting, including earnings support and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
- Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance across the organization
- Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, providing clear and actionable insights
- Support cross-functional initiatives, including new product launches, investments, and strategic projects
- Assist with audit processes and help maintain strong internal controls and financial discipline
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree; concentration in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- High proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Familiarity with public company reporting and financial statements
- Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
- Clear communicator with the ability to translate financial data into business insights
Compensation
- Base salary: $100,000 - $130,000, depending on experience and location
- Equity: Eligible for stock options
- Benefits: Company covers 80% of premiums on health, vision, and dental insurance
