You will deliver a white-glove client experience in a fully remote environment, speaking with design-conscious and wellness-oriented clients. You must be able to sell our tatami lifestyle with depth, elegance, and strategic thinking. The role requires initiative, consultative selling, assumption-based selling skills, and high-level communication.
About Us
The Tatami Shop is a second-generation wellness interiors brand rooted in Japanese craftsmanship and intentional living. We are evolving into a global lifestyle brand focused on restful homes, simplicity, and timeless quality.
We serve discerning clients who value natural materials, slow living, and thoughtful design.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a global pipeline of qualified leads through outbound prospecting, partnerships, and virtual consultations
Conduct outreach to interior designers, wellness spaces, retreat centres, and aligned partners internationally
Manage inbound leads via WhatsApp, email, video calls, and CRM systems, with handover to Customer Service when required
Qualify leads, prepare and send quotations within 2 working hours
Follow up consistently using a structured 7–10 touchpoint follow-up system
Create and present tailored product recommendations
Guide clients through the purchase journey using a calm, consultative, and educated approach
Represent the brand with white-glove professionalism at every stage of the client journey
Collaborate with Customer Success to identify upsell opportunities and secure referrals
Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth fulfilment and client satisfaction
Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline updates using ERP systems such as Odoo
Proactively suggest improvements to SOPs, training guides, ERP, or CRM processes within the department
Relay client insights and patterns to Marketing and Management to inform strategy and campaigns
What Success Looks Like
Consistently generating high-quality outbound opportunities with an international focus
Approaching sales as a consultative, high-touch process that prioritises trust and fit
Guiding hesitant clients toward confident decisions through value-driven storytelling
Representing the brand’s values and aesthetics in all written and verbal communication

2–4 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or account management
Strong ability to initiate and manage prospecting campaigns, email outreach, and virtual meetings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence
Ability to deliver white-glove service in a remote, self-managed setting
Proficiency with tools such as WhatsApp Business, Google Sheets, and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo)

Experience in luxury, wellness, interiors, or lifestyle brands
Prior experience using Odoo
