PHP Software Developer (1-5yrs)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and eager Junior Software Developer to join our development team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with senior developers and other team members and great opportunity to directly connect with CEOs also. You will have the opportunity to learn and work on SaaS platform, develop new modules, maintain and optimize our backend applications, and danamojo payment platform.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of web applications and platforms used for fintech services, ensuring they are secure, performant, and scalable.
• Work with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and JavaScript to build dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with back-end to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic, using technologies like Node.js, Php.
• Ensure that applications adhere to the highest standards of security, especially in handling sensitive financial data.
• Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of existing fintech applications to ensure meet evolving market needs.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs and performance issues, especially related to financial transactions and data processing.
• Help in testing and contribute to code quality through code reviews.
• Stay updated on industry trends in web development, especially those relating to fintech, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
• Work within an agile team to meet development milestones and deliver high-quality products.

Requirements:

• Strong foundational knowledge of web development languages: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React, Vue.js, or Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP) is a plus.
• Strong SQL knowledge (Important to be able to write any kind of queries).
• Basic understanding of web security principles, especially those relevant to fintech applications (e.g., data encryption, secure login protocols).
• Exposure to financial technology concepts, such as payments, transaction processing, or digital wallets, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
2. Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, Grunt).
3. Knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, wix).
4. Exposure to basic back-end development or database management (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
5. Core PHP, Any PHP framework (Laravel, Codeigniter, Symfony, CakePHP, Yii2)
