Senior Backend Engineer - multiple positions

We are looking for Senior Backend Engineers multiple positions to join our team immediately and help us build and scale our platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern backend frameworks and database technologies, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure and microservices architecture. You will work closely with the product and data teams to design and implement scalable and reliable backend systems that power our AI platform. You will also contribute to developing and maintaining our existing codebase, as well as debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise in production.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and reliable backend systems that power our AI platform
• Develop new features and maintain existing codebase using modern backend frameworks and database technologies
• Collaborate with the product and data teams to understand requirements and design efficient and effective solutions
• Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise in production
• Optimize code performance and scalability
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development process and tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in building high performance and scalable software
• Strong knowledge of databases (e.g. MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch) and data modeling
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Experience with machine learning or data analytics
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
