Finthos is an Agentic AI operating system for family offices managing $200M–$5B+ in assets. We replace fragmented tools with a unified intelligence layer: portfolio management, deal flow, co-investment marketplace, governance, and compliance, spanning US, Swiss/EU, and MENA markets. Think Bloomberg Terminal for private wealth, built AI-native.
Pre-seed stage. Platform live. Active pilots with family offices across the US, Europe, and the Middle East. First paying customer live.

What You'll Build
You'll be the primary engineer shipping production code across our core platform and our newest modules

Specifically:

Multi-tenant platform deal posting, tiered data rooms, KYC onboarding (Sumsub), commitment tracking, fee automation, and document signing
RAG-powered AI features: deal document Q&A with citations, AI-generated deal summaries, investor-deal match scoring
Portfolio dashboards across seven asset classes with consolidated reporting
"Ask Finthos AI" conversational interface with Deep Research mode
Admin portal with RBAC, audit logging, KYC management, and deal approval workflows
Real-time messaging (bilateral DMs, deal-scoped Q&A threads)
Secure, multi-tenant architecture with row-level security enforced at the database layer

Tech Stack
Frontend: Next.js 14+ (App Router), React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui
Backend: Node.js/NestJS or Python/FastAPI (your input matters here), PostgreSQL, REST with OpenAPI
AI: Anthropic Claude (Sonnet) for RAG, document Q&A, deal summaries, match nudges. pgvector or Pinecone for vector storage
Cloud: Azure (primary), with Vercel for frontend hosting
Integrations: Sumsub (KYC/AML), document signing (Dropbox Sign or DocuSign), Resend/SendGrid (transactional email), Stripe (invoicing)
Observability: Sentry, PostHog, structured logging

Requirements

Must have:

5+ years full-stack production experience (React/Next.js + backend API + PostgreSQL)
Experience building multi-tenant SaaS with proper data isolation (RLS, tenant scoping)
Comfortable owning features end-to-end: schema design through polished UI
Can ship clean interfaces fast without heavy design direction
Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage pace
San Francisco based or willing to work hybrid (2–3 days/week in person)

Nice to have:

RAG pipelines, vector search, or LLM integration experience
Fintech, wealth management, or regulated-industry background
KYC/AML integration experience (Sumsub, Onfido, or similar)
Azure cloud infrastructure experience
Prior startup experience (seed stage or earlier)
