We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience testing web and mobile applications, ensuring exceptional quality and performance. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve issues, while also contributing to the overall QA strategy and process improvements.

What you'll do

• You’ll be hands on with testing from day 1 and will oversee the complete testing of our mobile app and web platform
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for platform, mobile app and analytics features
• Have strong knowledge of Appium or any other app testing framework
• Design and execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability of our platform and mobile app
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify potential issues, and drive resolutions
• Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
• Continuously improve QA workflows, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and test coverage
• Monitor and analyze test results, identify trends, and proactively address quality issues throughout the development lifecycle
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and analytics to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge

What you'll need

• 1-3 years of experience in QA roles with a focus on mobile app, platform and analytics products
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, including manual and automated testing
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
• Experience with data analytics, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile environments
• Hands on experience in testing data intense applications and analytics dashboards
• Experience with API automation & testing
• Understanding of Flutter and how it works is an advantage
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, a bit of Javascript, JSON/XML, etc
• Hands on debugging skills in Chrome dev tools, cookies, sessions, etc
• Experience in testing web applications on the MERN stack is a huge plus
• Experience in mobile app performance testing is a huge advantage
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
