We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our rapidly growing sales team. As a BDR, you will be at the forefront of driving our outbound sales efforts by identifying and reaching out to new business opportunities in the healthcare sector.

Your Day-to-Day:
🚀 Be a Trailblazer: You’ll help shape our outbound sales strategy as one of the first BDRs on the team. Your feedback and input will be crucial as we refine our approach.
📞 Outbound Prospecting: You’ll be drafting campaigns to reach healthcare professionals, supply chain directors, and procurement teams and introduce them to the future of hospital supply chain management.
🔍 Hunting for Opportunities: You’ll dig into LinkedIn, Lusha, and whatever tools you need to find potential customers who need our solution (even if they don’t know it yet).
💡 Qualify, Qualify, Qualify: You’re not just contacting anyone—you’ll make sure we’re a great fit for the hospitals and health systems you’re reaching out to, ensuring we can make a real difference for them.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, research, and engage potential clients, targeting supply chain directors, procurement teams, and hospital executives.
- Execute outbound prospecting strategies, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Generate interest in Symmetric’s solutions and schedule meetings
- Maintain and update prospect data in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the team to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness through various channels, including marketing, like LinkedIn, newsletters, blogs, etc.
- Track and report on lead generation activities and results.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape
- Build a strong sales pipeline through email campaigns, calling, and strong objection handling
- Researching, prospecting, and setting qualified meetings
- Travel to customer sites or conferences when it makes sense
- Create prep documents for each meeting to ensure AEs are prepared to make a great first impression
Qualifications:
- 2+ years as a BDR/SDR or other relevant sales/customer-facing experience (B2B SaaS is a plus)
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
- Results-driven and hunter mentality
- Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
- Tech-savvy, ability to understand complex technology and translate it to customer benefits
- Love the nature of a tech startup

COMPENSATION RANGE
Base: $60,000-70,000/yr, with bonus incentives and uncapped commissions
