RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain web and mobile applications, from backend systems to frontend user interfaces, tailored to the needs of the hospitality and travel industries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Operations) to define requirements and build features that improve the guest and team experience.
Write clean, scalable code and adhere to industry best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
Troubleshoot and debug applications, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the hospitality tech space to continuously improve our software infrastructure.
Contribute to team planning and code reviews, offering and accepting constructive feedback.
Ensure high-quality software delivery through unit testing, integration testing, and active participation in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 2+ years of professional software development experience, with a solid understanding of both frontend and backend technologies.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in languages and frameworks such as JavaScript (React, Node.js), Python, Ruby, or Java. Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and API development (RESTful, GraphQL). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on scalable and maintainable software.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within an agile, cross-functional team.
Passion for User Experience: Understanding of how technology can drive exceptional experiences for both users and internal teams in the hospitality and travel sector.
Bonus Points: Familiarity with DevOps tools, containerization (Docker), or serverless architectures. Experience in the travel or hospitality tech industry is a plus!
