Fraud Analyst
As a Fraud Analyst, you will explore the world of online payment fraud, understanding how fraudsters work and finding ways to stop them. You'll act as a detective, strategist, and team player, working with various departments to protect our customers from fraud. Your insights will be fueling the development of our fraud Machine Learning products.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with data teams as well as product managers, risk officers and operations teams to find new ways to identify and stop fraud
- Balance small details and the big picture view to understand the global fraud landscape and how fraud impacts our business, and that of our merchants
- Partner with external stakeholders and merchants to understand ways we can improve our product and stay on top of industry trends
- Identify areas for operational improvement and drive initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness within our fraud products and ways of working
Who you are
- You have at least 4 years of relevant working experience in a fraud or data analyst focused role
- You have excellent analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, and BI tools like Looker
- You have domain knowledge in fraud prevention, transaction lifecycles, and are able to define and challenge industry best practices
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
