PlanYear is an AI solution for benefits brokers. We’ve automated all the painful parts of health insurance so brokers can focus on creating the best experience for their customers and sustaining valuable, long term relationships with employers and carriers alike.
Our growing team is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to close new business with local & national brokerages. Reporting into the VP Commercial, you will be responsible for building your own pipeline and developing and nurturing relationships with benefits brokers within your territory.
In addition to selling new business, you will partner closely with our Partnerships and Business Development teams to develop a strategy to drive adoption of our AI-powered solution within your geographic region. This will include a variety of virtual and in person outreach, events and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly & annual goals
- Qualify leads from BDR team into opportunities and quarterback them from start to finish
- Leverage both existing network and direct outreach to generate pipeline
- Increase stage conversion rate and opportunity close rate
- Immaculately track opportunity data in CRM
Qualifications
- 4+ years of demonstrated success in partnerships or consultative sales
- Motivated, self-starter
- Desire to learn
- High confidence balanced with low ego
