Role Overview:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for OneAssure, ensuring that the company's content is engaging, informative, and aligned with brand goals. This role involves managing a content calendar, conducting competitor analysis, researching new content ideas, and overseeing the execution of social media campaigns that drive customer engagement and brand awareness.
As part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, the ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience working with Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands, ideally within the financial services industry, and a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends. You will be empowered to shape the voice of OneAssure on social media and work closely with cross-functional teams to amplify our digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Calendar Management: Develop and manage a monthly content calendar across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), ensuring timely delivery of posts that align with marketing objectives.
Campaign Management: Lead the execution of social media campaigns, including planning, content creation, paid social strategies, and performance tracking. Ensure campaigns meet KPIs for engagement, leads, and conversions.
Content Creation & Ideation: Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality, engaging content that speaks to our audience's needs. Research and propose new content ideas that resonate with our target demographic.
Competitor & Market Research: Conduct regular analysis of competitors' social media activity and industry trends. Use this data to adjust content strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
Community Engagement: Monitor and engage with followers, responding to comments, direct messages, and reviews to foster positive relationships and brand advocacy.
Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance using tools like Google Analytics etc. Provide monthly reports and actionable insights to optimize campaigns and improve social media strategies.
Brand Voice & Messaging: Ensure all social media content is aligned with OneAssure's brand tone and values. Help establish OneAssure as a thought leader in the financial services space.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with proven expertise in managing social media for D2C brands, financial services industry experience would be a plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and the tools used for social media management (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
Experience with paid social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
A data-driven mindset with experience analyzing social media metrics and using insights to optimize content.
Educational Background: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Desirable Skills:
Experience working within the insurance or fintech industry is a plus.
Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.
Soft Skills:
Creative thinker with a passion for social media trends and innovation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with different teams.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
